Project Objectives

An exclusive Pre-sales registration event was launched for the legendary Toyota Supra. The aim was to enhance the workflow efficiency and effectively capture and consolidate potential buyer information, while providing a seamless digital O2O customer experience.

User Interviews

What are car buyers looking for? To get greater insight into our users, I sent a survey to more than 50 people, including 28 men and 23 women to get an understanding of what people who own a car - or are looking for a car - would find interesting as they explore a visualization.

Data was sampled from 28 men and 23 women

This list ranks the eight key factors by how important they are to consumers when buying a new car. The percentage is based on the number of respondents who said the factor was among their top three priorities. Although I see a little difference between genders, the overall order did remain the same. This data validated that people place more emphasis on brand, safety, as well as performance and design/style.

Sitemap

Keeping a balance! From here I could decide what actions and features were crucial and beneficial, and designed a sitemap around these conclusions. I wanted to create a seamless experience for my target users by emphasizing on simplicity but keeping a balance between customization of registration/prepayment versus selling point of products, as both were appreciated.

In the previous launch, it was difficult for Toyota sales team to centralize and keep track of every customer’s info Also, it was a hassle for the customer when the salesperson attempted multiple communications in order to complete the registration and provide the customers with sales material. Most importantly, requesting pre-payment deposit was the most troublesome procedure . Collection of documentation & human error complicated the task.

Wireframe Development

I would like to create a hub to consolidate all customer information and activity data, and which at the same time provide a easy and intuitive registration/pre-payment process for potential buyers.
